Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return. Any request made after 30 days will be refused.
When We Accept a Return
| Situation | Requirement |
| You changed your mind, ordered the wrong size, or simply don’t like the product | The item must be unused, in its original packaging, with all tags attached, and free of any damage caused by you. |
| The item arrived defective or physically damaged | The “unused” condition does not apply. However, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery. |
Final sale items and gift cards cannot be returned.
How to Start a Return
- Send an email to info@birkensttock.com with your order number and the reason for return.
- Within one business day, we will reply with a prepaid return label and step‑by‑step packing instructions.
- Pack the item securely (original box is recommended).
- Attach the prepaid label and drop the package off at the carrier’s location (USPS, UPS, or Canada Post).
- Keep your drop‑off receipt until your refund is processed.

For Canadian customers: the prepaid label covers the full cost of international return shipping to this U.S. address.
Return Shipping Cost
Free. We pay for return shipping on all eligible returns. There are no restocking fees.
Refund Timing
- After we receive your return, we inspect it within 1–2 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (credit card or PayPal).
- Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 7–10 business days to make the funds available in your account.
Defective Items
If you receive a defective or damaged product, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will offer either a replacement (free of charge) or a full refund – your choice.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
